A plan to build a new city is being considered by Elon Musk, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The idea is to establish the city in the state of Texas, as Musk has acquired an area near Austin.
This is confirmed by his close associates.
Musk himself has placed much of his production in the area. Modular houses, a swimming pool and a sports area are said to have already been put up on site.
According to state law, a city can be founded there only if it has a population of over two hundred people. At this time, no such application has been submitted.
