Alla Pugacheva asked the authorities in Russia to be declared a foreign agent

Soviet and Russian pop star Alla Pugacheva has officially asked the Russian authorities to declare her a "foreign agent". Thus, Pugacheva stands in solidarity with her husband, the famous comedian Maxim Galkin, whom the Russian Ministry of Justice added yesterday to the list of foreign agents.

Alla Pugacheva published her request to the Ministry of Justice on her Instagram page.

The famous singer emphasizes that she is in solidarity with her husband, whom she defines as “an honest, decent and sincere person, a true and incorruptible Russian patriot who wishes his country prosperity, a peaceful life, freedom of speech and an end to the death of our boys in the name of illusory goals that turn our country into an outsider and complicate the lives of our citizens”.

Maxim Galkin openly condemned the actions of the Russian army in Ukraine and transferred his royalties from a series of concerts in Israel to help Ukrainian refugees. Pugacheva and Galkin left Russia soon after the start of the so-called “special military operation”, but at the end of August, they returned to Moscow, BNR notes.
