Biden condemned Russian missile strikes against Ukraine

US President Joe Biden condemned Russia's missile strikes in Ukraine, Reuters reports. He said they demonstrate the "absolute brutality" of Russian President Vladimir Putin's war against the Ukrainian people.

The United States strongly condemns Russia’s missile strikes today in Ukraine, including in Kyiv. These attacks killed and injured civilians and destroyed non-military targets. They once again demonstrate the utter brutality of Putin’s illegal war against the Ukrainian people, Biden said in a statement.

Earlier today, NATO and the EC also condemned the missile strikes against Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.

We remind you that Russia subjected Kyiv, Zaporizhia, and other populated places in the country to shelling. 75 rockets were launched on Ukrainian territories. At least 11 people died in the strikes.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the missile strikes were in response to the explosion of the Crimean bridge, which Russia defined as an act of terrorism.
