Kanye West has announced that he will run for President of the United States again. The Grammy-winning rapper said he is “working on his campaign” for the 2024 presidential election alongside right-wing political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos.
“Thanks, I’ll take it,” Kanye West, 45, says in a released video when asked if he’s officially announcing his candidacy.
The infamous rapper ran as an independent candidate in the 2020 presidential election and received about 70,000 votes in 12 states. In recent weeks, Kanye West has found himself at the center of controversy because of his repeated anti-Semitic comments, writes DPA.
Last month, Instagram and Twitter temporarily blocked access to his accounts, and Adidas ended its collaboration with him. On Sunday, the rapper tweeted that he was checking to see if his account was active, then added “Shalom” in a new post.
