US President Joe Biden will soon hold talks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. This was stated by the adviser in the White House on national security issues, Jake Sullivan, quoted by BTA. “I can’t give you an exact date because it hasn’t been scheduled, but President Biden has indicated his desire to have a phone conversation with President Xi,” Sullivan said after the conclusion of the Chinese National People’s Congress.
The end of the congress coincided with a meeting of the leaders of the US, Britain, and Australia in San Diego, where details of the so-called AUCUS pact, which provides nuclear-powered submarines to Canberra, were presented.
