The attorney general of the state of New York has received permission to start a case against the organization of Donald Trump, reported FOX News.
Representatives of Donald Trump filed a lawsuit to stop the case.
The push for the case came back in the fall. Attorney General Leticia James insists violations have been going on for years.
The companies are believed to have artificially inflated the value of their properties in order to obtain more loans. They actually deceived insurers and creditors.
Some properties were valued at ten times their real value. Further study is pending.
Representatives of Trump have begun work on the subject.
