Iran boasts record oil exports
Iran’s oil exports reached their highest level since the reimposition of US sanctions in 2018, Oil Minister Javad Ouji said, quoted by Reuters.
Since the US withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal and the reimposition of sanctions on Tehran in 2018, Iran’s oil exports and revenues have suffered a significant collapse. Few countries continue to buy Iranian crude, one of them being China.
The oil minister indicated that in the current year starting March 21, 2022, 83 million barrels more were exported compared to the previous period 2021-2022.
