Spanish police announced today that they have seized 32 tons of cannabis, which they say is a world record.

The cannabis was seized as part of an investigation that saw 20 people arrested.

The police operation has been carried out over the past few weeks in several Spanish cities, including Toledo and Valencia, where the suspects have stored most of their wares.

According to the Spanish police, the cannabis heads were packaged and planned to be placed in various Spanish regions and also in foreign countries, “mainly in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium”.

The 20 people detained during the operation are aged between 20 and 59. Of them, nine are men and 11 are women. The criminal group to which they belong “controlled the entire process of drug production and distribution,” the police explained.
