Stoltenberg with important words about Ukraine’s entry into NATO

Ukraine will become a member of the alliance in the “long term”, said the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, but emphasized that the immediate issue is for it to remain an independent country in the face of the Russian invasion, reported AFP.
“The NATO allies have agreed that Ukraine will become a member of our alliance, but at the same time this is a long-term perspective,” Stoltenberg told reporters during a visit to the Finnish capital Helsinki.
